This post is sponsored by RANA as part of their campaign to increase awareness around sleep apnea. As always, all opinions are my own.
We’ve all done it. For me, snoring is one of those things that happens when I am really, really tired or when I have a bad head cold. It’s not an every night thing but for some it is. For many they wave off any suggestion that it is something to worry about. “Don’t worry. I’ve just gained a few pounds.” or “I don’t snore! I never hear a thing!”
Unfortunately, that isn’t always the case. Many people who snore have Obstructive Sleep Apnea. Click on the photo below to launch a pdf with loads of things you probably don’t know about snoring.
And while snoring is really hard on the person doing it, it is no walk in the part for other family members either. My husband went through a time when he was quite the snorer. Thank goodness that is over! I woke up a thousand times per night just so I could give him a big shove. I had to giggle at this on point and funny video about how it feels to be married to a snorer.
Look familiar? It’s crazy but interrupted sleep can affect you on so many levels….tiredness, depression, weight gain…the list goes on. Head over to RANA to get your RANA Snore Score. It will help you determine if you or your partner may have an apnea problem and get you the help you need.
Because we ALL deserve a good night’s sleep!
