Exciting entertainment options awaiting you during a Disney World Christmas!

Merriest Celebration

Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration

One of the most exciting shows during this Christmas event is Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration, a live on-stage extravaganza featuring many of your favourite Disney characters.

Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto and many more surprise guests stop in to sing Christmas carols old and new. Cinderella’s castle is illuminated with an impressive holiday display as the backdrop.

A Frozen Holiday Wish

Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration isn’t the only Christmas event that gives Cinderella’s castle a makeover. A Frozen Holiday Wish is another Christmas-themed live show that features characters from the beloved Disney movie Frozen.

You’ll be joined by Anna, Olaf, Kristoff and Queen Elsa for a live show that culminates into Queen Elsa using her powers to transform the castle into a dazzling, icy display you won’t soon forget.

Featuring a joyous retelling of the Christmas story by a celebrity narrator, accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra and a glorious mass choir, this festive performance takes place annually in November and December. Show times are at 5, 6:45 and 8:15 p.m.

Delicious Disney World Christmas Dining Options

Fans of all Disney World’s delicious dishes and snacks are in for a treat at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, should you choose to attend. Many of the restaurants in each Walt Disney World park and resort features special holiday menu items that you can’t get any other time of the year.

In addition, there’s a number of holiday dining packages available that afford you a great view of the fireworks show while you enjoy your meal. There are all kinds of holiday-themed sweets and desserts to choose from like cinnamon rolls, hot cocoa and gingerbread cookies.

Speaking of gingerbread, be sure to keep an eye out for life-size gingerbread displays throughout the parks and resorts, including those at the Contemporary Resort and the Grand Floridian.

Yes, a Disney World Christmas is an unforgettable experience. The beautiful holiday decorations start going up right after Thanksgiving. There’s no need to wait until December 25 to be amazed.
