Learning throughout our lives keeps us young. I truly believe that. At each step in my career path, I have tried to make sure that I keep pushing myself to learn and do new things. Because the minute you stop wanting to learn something new you start going backwards.
Last Sunday I left Calgary and flew to Kelowna for the ROAM 2015 conference put on by Blissdom Canada. it was the pilot of a new kind of conference. A small number of experienced influencers and small businesses learning next level content hands on. No 101 info here! It was amazing. Here’s a little video I put together talking about the experience and some of the things I learned. Check it out to see what is blowing my mind…
One of the coolest things about ROAM was that they partnered with local Kelowna businesses to host great sessions on Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, being a business owner and more. During our time there we visited Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery, RauDZ, Bliss Bakery, Sandhill Wines and stayed at the gorgeous Delta Grand Okanagan.
A huge shout out to Jen Powell of Blissdom Canada (aka “The lady who puts on Blissdom” in my video. Duh, she does have a name. LOL) for putting together this wonderful event and inspiring so many local Kelowna businesses to take a leap and support the conference and the attendees. I can’t wait to return to Kelowna with my family.
